There are no hills on an E Bike

What better way to explore our beautiful city and world-famous surroundings than on an E Bike

BMW E Bike

Yes that’s correct, BMW do make E bikes and they do a very good job at it as you would expect. This is the 29″ wheel E-Cross bike fitted with a 600Wh Lithium-Ion battery with a maximum range of 125 km, which gives you plenty of options to explore Inverness and its rich surroundings.

The bike has ten Shimano gears and fitted with disc brakes and an extra comfortable seat making it a pleasure to ride and control.

A bell is also fitted for when alerting other cyclists on the steep hills when you are passing them. A kickstand is also fitted when you want to park the bike for any reason such as taking photos.

There are four settings on pedal assist, from no assistance to turbo which is controlled on the touch screen control. Your day can be as easy or difficult depending on what you want and how you feel. There are no up hills on an E Bike.

Gazelle City E Bike

This is the Dutch Gazelle city E-Bike and as we know bicycles are the number one way to commute in Holand and the Dutch do know how to build a bike. This is a very comfortable bike to explore with its design and riding position.

The Gazelle city bike is a seven-speed hub gear with twist change on the handlebars with disc brakes fitted. It has a 418 Wh battery with a maximum range of 105 km. The bike is also fitted with a kickstand and rear rack for carrying any essentials on your day out.

You have four options when it comes to assist your pedalling from self peddling to high battery input making it an effortless ride. Again there are no up hills on an E Bike.

E Bike Suggested Tours

Individual bike tours have become increasingly popular because of the flexibility and independence they offer.

They cost less than guided bicycle tours but still maintain a level of support and convenience that allows you to explore on your own schedule without sweating the logistics.

Guided Tours

If you enjoy traveling with a group, meeting new people, and having a guide and structured daily schedule, then a guided group bike tour is probably the best fit for you.

The guides point out places of interest, organize excursions and activities and are there in case of breakdowns (mechanical or human).
